All CBMS Studio products now support a web interface for configuration of settings. Using the Web interface it is now possible to configure the AAC-1000 as a BACnet IP to MSTP router without using the Engineering Tool.
Customisation of the configuration screens can be done so that value from any Sedona component can be displayed.
The screenshot to the left is a sample output of the general settings of the AAC-1000.
The AAC-1000 can be ordered as a Router Only for US $250, or as a fully programmable controller for US $290. The same hardware is used in both variations, but the device will be restricted to operate as a router only if the base model is selected. The router only model can be upgraded to a fully programmable device by purchasing an upgrade pack if required.
The onboard GPIO of the Raspberry PI can be accessed as Binary inputs or outputs from CBMS Studio. These points can be used inside a wire sheet for control or they can be exposed as BACnet or Modbus points. For more instructions please visit our how to page.
There is a new Raspberry PI image available to make it easier to install, the latest instructions can be found in the How To documents. Just download the image and write it to your SD card, plug it into your Raspberry PI and it will boot up as a fully functional BACnet device.
