CBMS Studio have released a software bundle which will convert the Raspberry PI into a programmable BACnet device. The AAC-PI can be configured as a gateway to bridge between Modbus and BACnet protocols. It is fully programmable via a graphical engineering tool and has support for BACnet Alarms, Schedules and Trendlogs.

Hi, I use my Raspberry Pi to bridge Modbus RS-485 and BACnet Ethernet. What is the best hardware to connect RS-485 on Raspberry Pi?

We recommend using the raspicomm from http://www.amescon.com/products/raspicomm.aspx if you wish to make your Raspberry PI support BACnet MSTP.
