The Beaglebone Software Bundle contains all the files necessary to run the CBMS Sedona Virtual Machine on the Beaglebone black. It will be installed as a daemon process and automatically start when the Beaglebone starts.
Step 1 - Connect the beaglebone to the ethernet network and then open up an SSH terminal using putty or similar. Do not directly connect the beaglebone to your PC because you will not have an internet connection.
Step 2 Type in the following command to download the CBMS Studio installation package. An internet connection will be required to complete this step.
$ wget wget http://www.cbmsstudio.com/uploads/2/7/3/4/27346891/cbmsstudio_184.108.40.2063_armhf.deb
Step 4 Type in the following from the command line to install the package.
$ sudo dpkg -i cbmsstudio_220.127.116.113_armhf.deb
The CBMS Studio software will be started after it has installed. The Engineering Tool is required for the configuration of CBMS Studio on the Beaglebone and each will require it's own unique registration code which needs to be purchased individually. For testing purposes a 30 day registration code will be generated and it can be upgraded to a full license at any time after a purchase has been made.
